Ticket Sales Account Executive - Indy Eleven (Indianapolis, In)

Indy Eleven Professional Soccer is seeking a highly-motivated, focused, and professional individual to sell season and group tickets for “Indiana’s Team” in the North American Soccer League.

The successful candidate will recognize that ticket sales are the foundation of success for a professional sports franchise and will enthusiastically help to exceed all sales goals. The Account Executive position requires a comfort level with calling prospective buyers, as well as face-to face-sales at events and in the community. Primary responsibilities for the Ticket Sales Account Executive will include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and managing relationships in the soccer community, the corporate community, and the Hispanic community that will drive season and group ticket sales
  • Soliciting season ticket sales and effectively managing the relationships that lead to season ticket renewals
  • Developing new contacts with groups and organizations via phone calls and face-to-face presentations that lead to ticket sales
  • Assisting in the creation of initiatives that lead to season and group ticket sales
  • Managing or assisting with fulfillment for groups on game days/events
  • Attending each home game, as well as occasional events in the community

This position will report directly to the Director of Ticket Sales. Qualifications for this position include:

  • BA/BS degree is preferred
  • Experience in sales and sports is preferred
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for soccer is preferred
  • Goal-oriented
  • Ability with season ticket database
  • Knowledge of Central Indiana and its soccer community
  • Able to work with management and a diverse team of people
  • Spanish language skills will be a plus, but not required.
     

The Ticket Sales Account Executive position will include a base salary and potential for commission. In addition, Indy Eleven employees are eligible for a health benefit package through the organization.

Corporate Partnerships Intern - Jacksonville Armada FC (Jacksonville, FL)
  • Assist in planning sponsor related game day events/give-a-ways.
  • Assist in coordinating sponsor related promotional events and projects.
  • Assist in planning and schedule Player and Coach Appearances.
  • Member of game day staff.
  • Assist in ordering season, single game, post season tickets for sponsors. Prepare internal forms for ticketing and accounting.
  • Prepare fulfillment letters, proposals and end of year recaps.

Director of Inside Sales - North Carolina Football Club (Cary, NC)

I. SUMMARY

North Carolina Football Club seeks a Director of Inside Sales to oversee the day to day activities of inside sales representatives responsible for selling season ticket packages and flex packages along with individual game tickets for both North Carolina Football Club/ North Carolina Courage. Position participates in special projects/project team(s) as assigned, to identify potential customers within the Triangle area and support overall departmental objectives.

II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Oversee the day-to-day management of the Inside Ticket sales reps

·      Sell full menu ticket sales products

·      Lead ticket sales fan interaction initiatives ie. STH events, Meet the Team, etc.

·      Work in coordination with Vice President of Ticket & Premium Sales on plans to help drive ticket revenue

·      Assist with the development and management of a consistent sales training program

·      Manage data capture plan to integrate website, emails, events and partnerships

·      Aid in the game day operations responsibilities of the sales department

  • Conduct monthly performance reviews for staff
  • Assist with building a sales culture within the department
  • Responsible for weekly reporting and tracking of sales numbers to senior management
  • Represent the club in key community events, corporate networking events and youth soccer events
  • Assist with the oversight of the fulfillment for all groups and events on game day

North Carolina Football Club seeks an Inside Sales Representative (s) to participate in an 11-month intensive entry-level, part-time, sales program during which he/she will prospect and sell all season ticket plans offered for both North Carolina Football Club/ North Carolina Courage.

  • Generate ticket sales revenue by cold calling area groups that are mainly youth clubs, community non-profits groups, fan packs and individual game buyers
  • Generate leads by researching prospective clients within the Triangle area and generating referrals for full time staff
  • Attend community events, North Carolina FC/North Carolina Courage home games to promote the team, entertain prospective clients, and/or staff a ticket sales table on the concourse for in-game selling of ticket plans
  • Responsible for making 75-100 phone calls per shift
  • Answer inbound sales calls
  • Training ground to promote to a higher role within the department

  • Collaborate with sponsorship department to sell sponsorship and ticket packages
  • Sell premium hospitality areas; (party decks, suites, owners suite)
  • Sell large corporate events
  • Sell large corporate season ticket packages
  • Attend North Carolina FC/North Carolina Courage home games to promote the team, entertain prospective clients, and/or staff a ticket sales table on the concourse for in-game selling of ticket plans
  • Attend chamber meetings and other lead generating networking events in the region
  • Responsible for making 50-60 outbound calls
