Bilingual English/Spanish Account Executive - Indy Eleven (Indianapolis, In)

Indy Eleven is seeking a highly-motivated, focused, and professional individual to sell season tickets, group tickets and hospitality packages for “Indiana’s Team” in the North American Soccer League, with an emphasis on targeting potential Hispanic fans. 

The successful candidate will recognize that ticket sales are the foundation of success for a professional sports franchise and will enthusiastically help to exceed all sales goals. The Account Executive position requires a comfort level with calling prospective buyers, as well as face-to face-sales at events and in the community. Primary responsibilities for the Ticket Sales Account Executive will include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and managing relationships in the soccer community, the corporate community, and the Hispanic community that will drive season and group ticket sales.
  • Soliciting season ticket sales and effectively managing the relationships that lead to season ticket renewals.
  • Developing new contacts with groups and organizations via phone calls and face-to-face presentations that lead to ticket sales.
  • Assisting in the creation of initiatives that lead to season and group ticket sales.
  • Managing or assisting with fulfillment for groups on game days/events
  • Attending each home game, as well as occasional events in the community

This position will report directly to the Director of Ticket Sales. Qualifications for this position include:

  • BA/BS degree is preferred
  • Fluently bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Experience in sales and sports is preferred
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for soccer is preferred
  • Goal-oriented
  • Ability to work with the season ticket database
  • Knowledge of Central Indiana and its soccer community
  • Able to work with management and a diverse team of people

The Ticket Sales Account Executive position will include a base salary and potential for commission. In addition, Indy Eleven employees are eligible for a health benefit package through the organization.

Account Executive - Ticket Sales - Jacksonville Armada FC (Jacksonville, FL)

The Jacksonville Armada FC is a professional soccer team that competes in Jacksonville, FL as a member of the NASL. This position is ideal for candidates driven to become the best sports business leaders in the industry. Candidates that have the highest success rate in this position are those that are entrepreneurial, creative, and determined to succeed. Your primary responsibility will be to create relationships and generate revenue through multiple channels including; phone calls, face to face meetings, and networking.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned.)

  1. Responsible for generating maximum revenue for the team through the full menu marketing of ticket programs.
  2. Sell full-seasons, partial season plans, and group packages for the team. Meet and exceed all sales goals.
  3. Create and develop new business by regularly pitching new prospects through phone prospecting, external appointments and networking events.
  4. Plan and coordinate group events
  5. Manage all personal accounts and work with the fan relations department to provide the highest level of customer service throughout the season.
  6. Game night responsibilities include, but not limited to, assisting with sales initiatives and prospecting for new clients at the match.
  7. Attend outside events with the purpose of selling ticket packages in conjunction with the marketing department.
  8. Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities and closed sales.

Desired Skills and Expertise:

  1. Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
  2. Prior experience in ticket sales, telemarketing, appointment scheduling or cold-calling techniques.
  3. Strength in time management, administrative ability, organization, and customer service skills.
  4. Ability to communicate effectively with the public in a professional manner.
  5. Proficient computer skills including experience with MS Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. and ability to learn and master new software programs.
  6. Experience in utilizing CRM and ticketing systems (Veritix experience a bonus) in maintaining customer records a plus.
  7. High energy; ability to remain focused on sales goals and work independently.
  8. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  9. Bilingual a plus

JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective

The position will support the Manager of Entertainment to execute control room strategy and overall quality of fan entertainment. He/she will assist and help coordinate in the execution of theme nights, pregame and postgame concerts, halftime shows, and all in-game entertainment. This role will assist with the planning, implementation and execution of Miami FC events, including support of Miami FC Foundation events.

• Assist in the organization and creation of all game scripts to incorporate sponsored assets and any entertainment videos

• Support Miami FC Foundation in the execution of signature events.

• Assist in the coordination of Miami FC Hype Team, mascot, and in-game host, and DJ to ensure proper execution of in stadium promotions.

• Create ways to increase fan engagement touch points while leveraging the Miami FC brand.

• Support with the planning and execution of all pre-game & post-game concerts.

Position Purpose
The Street Team is a part time role responsible for representing the organization and also establishing relationships with organizations to develop grass roots marketing opportunities to promote the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Street Team members are expected to have a positive outgoing attitude as well as a diligent and detail oriented work ethic. Street Team members are responsible for generating interest in the Tampa Bay Rowdies from the public at a variety of events by creating a positive and welcoming environment.

Essential Functions
·      Distributing promotional items
·      Promoting brand engagement
·      Match day operations duties as assigned
·      Lead and instruct Rowdies soccer clinics at local schools, after school programs, and community centers.
·      Provide marketing presence at Rowdies community outreach appearances at festivals, fairs and other events as needed.
·      Provide staffing assistance on Rowdies home game nights by staffing concourse tables, fulfilling fan experiences, assisting with youth soccer intermissions, etc. as needed.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and demonstrate that s/he can perform the essential function of the job.

·      Reside in the Tampa Bay area
·      Must be available to work 10+ hours a week including days, evenings, weekends, and events as needed
·      Individuals have a strong background and knowledge in soccer, preferably the Tampa Bay Rowdies and the     NASL
·      An outgoing and positive personality. 
·      Must be able to work in a team environment while adhering to directions and guidelines from a supervisor. 
·      Previous experience coaching soccer and/or working with children is a plus
·      Preferred candidates should have access to transportation to travel to sites.
