JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective
Position involves (outbound) sales of Season Tickets/Corporate Suites/Specialty Club/Group Sales packages via telephone and in person. Candidate will be required to prospect for additional sales leads in and around the greater Miami market. May be required to make face-to-face presentations to high profile prospects. Position requires extensive product knowledge, policies/procedures of Miami FC and all ticket package offerings.

Position will demand objectivity, integrity, flexibility and dependability when interacting with Season Ticket, Group Accounts, and prospects. Interaction with all internal Miami FC Box Office ticketing personnel required. Candidate must display ability to work independently, set/achieve personal sales goals.

Essential Functions

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree required

·       Prior Season Tickets, Group Sales, or Corporate Suite/Specialty Package experience.

·       Demonstrated professional sales presentation skills

·       Experience in the Florida marketplace preferred but not necessary

·       Computer/data entry experience necessary

·       Thorough understanding of the importance of quality levels of customer service

·       Ticketing Software System

·       Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office software suite of products

·       Talented self-starter with an extremely creative mind, strategic ideas, and a focus on achieving excellence

·       Ability to think strategically and innovatively in formulating and executing ongoing marketing and advertising plans in highly competitive environment

 

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibility may serve as lead for interns.

 

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment, community appearances, and game day events. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, scanners and fax machines.

 

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Periodic use of an automobile, travel locally for presentations.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, including over the telephone. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms and lift up to 25 pounds. Walk repeatedly up and down stadium stairs, multiple times in the same day or evening.

·       Guide short and long-term Corporate Sponsorships (promotion of in-kind or financial revenue in support of organizational activity) department goals including but not limited to selling inventory.

·       Responsible for all Corporate Sponsorships and business development operations including budget control, capital expenditures and financial reporting

·       Manage the activities of the Corporate Sponsorships department by maximizing sale appropriate goals and metrics to properly measure staff performance and prioritizing targets

·       Identify, develop and implement elevated process and operational improvements, including innovative offers to enable best-in-class performance and management of sponsorships, service and retention effort products

·       Provide leadership to Corporate Sponsorship staff through coaching and mentoring

·       Maintain existing and develop new national and local account partnerships to further and enhance corporate alliances to maximize sales and increased revenue  

·       Develop new business categories and prospect targets for Corporate Sponsorship sales staff

·       Guide Director of Corporate Sponsorships in effectively planning and executing partner Sponsorships

·       Provide leadership in negotiating new sales and renewals of Sponsorships

·       Generate and design effective marketing and sales campaigns to create awareness while leveraging communications to support marketing efforts

·       Ensure we clearly understand Corporate Sponsor objectives by identifying the biggest business clients/prospects

·       Measure and track impact of business and share results in a consistent fashion to help aid

·       Serve as a member of the MFC Management Team

·       Work with other Vice Presidents to create a synergetic and collaborative team environment
